Chromium protects against corrosion and oxidation, and vanadium increases the durability and plasticity of the material. CrV is an alloy steel, the chemical composition of which also includes other, intentional elements:

• Boron increases hardenability. Thanks to it, we can be sure that the entire material has been hardened, not only the outer part, which ultimately translates into its hardness.
• Nitrogen, aluminum, and titanium additionally protect against rust and increase durability. The titanium also makes tools light.
• Manganese makes the tool resistant to deformation and abrasion.
• The addition of carbon, like vanadium, reduces the plasticity of the tool and increases the tensile strength of the alloy..

The composition of these elements and proper proportions is the foundation of the production of tools of the highest quality. The conviction that it is necessary to use an alloy with the appropriate properties is behind the creation of a new series of heavy-duty PRO Fachmayer MAX sockets.

A solid ratchet is the foundation of the set

In the socket wrench sets, you will find ratchets. It is an important element that significantly facilitates your work. When you tighten or unscrew the bolt, you do not have to remove the wrench with every movement. The ratchet allows you to move it backward without unscrewing it at the same time.

The ratchet should also have a reverse/forward switch conveniently operated with one hand, as well as a button that secures and quickly releases the socket, so we can be sure that the socket does not fall off the ratchet during operation.

The ratchet body should be made of CrV steel. However, unlike many solutions available on the market, the ratchet mechanism in the Fachmayer Max PRO ratchets is made of CrMo steel, which is even harder. It is used only in the highest quality tools and elements particularly exposed to wear.

Choose a set with a suitcase that will keep your tools organized and secure

Although the sockets and ratchets made of high-quality CrV alloy are durable, you can never be careful enough. It is worth keeping them in a suitcase equipped with foam to protect against possible damage. Make sure that the suitcase has durable steel fasteners.

The PRO WK405 is an extremely universal set that guarantees the comfort of work.
