Tile leveling system – which to choose? We advise!

Time saving? Convenience and work improvement? Who is not interested in such benefits? Check how tile leveling systems make the work of tilers easier. Designed not only for do-it-yourselfers, but above all for professional renovation companies, they will help take your business to the next level. Find out how the tile leveling system works and why it is worth choosing the one from the PRO brand.

Why use a tile leveling system?

The emerging trends in tiling today raise the bar for contractors. Investors choose narrow grouts, more and more often decide on large-format tiles (60 x 60 mm or 60 x 120 mm) or those in an unusual shape - long and narrow at the same time. These are tasks that are difficult to accomplish without professional equipment. The solution is to use leveling systems that:

  • minimize the risk of errors,
  • prevent shifting,
  • improve work,
  • will allow you to make joints of a fixed size.
How does the tile leveling system work?

This is a tool that allows you to obtain a uniform plane of tiles. The set consists of a clip, the base of which lands under the tiles, and the leg determines the thickness of the grout, and a wedge ensuring pressure and leveling the surface, which is inserted between the clip head and the tiles. The thing that undoubtedly makes the job easier are the pliers. They regulate the degree of pressure, thanks to which the hand gets tired to a much lesser extent.
The system application is intuitive and leaves no room for errors. When the tiles bond to the surface, the clips can be easily removed and no fragments will stick out.

PRO leveling systems - innovation and durability

PRO offers two types of systems:

  • SP600 - will work with tiles with a thickness of 6 to 13 mm - will work especially in hard-to-reach places,
  • SP800 – works with tiles from 3 to 16 mm thick and will be ideal for large format tiles.

Clips for grout widths of 1 mm, 1.5 mm and 2 mm are available throughout the system. Additionally in SP800 for joints: 3 mm and 1 mm elongated (used for high boards). The base of the clip is larger than the others available on the market, which translates into even stronger pressure of the tile to the substrate.

How do you work with PRO systems? First of all, quickly and conveniently! The solution we propose was based on the "design thinking" method. Conversations with tilers and dozens of hours spent with them during work helped us learn about the experience, clarify the expectations and needs of professionals. This knowledge resulted in the creation of a product that was 100% created at the plastics department at our plant in Bielsko-Biała. Its key feature is the innovative material from which the clips and wedges are made. In order for them to provide strong pressure and break in the right place, they must be both hard and flexible.

Which leveling system to choose?

This is a decision in which the material with which we plan to work will always be superior. The choice of a specific system is influenced by the thickness and size of the tiles, as well as the vision of the investor, who in most cases decides about the thickness of the grouts.
We advise you to pay attention to the design of elements produced in PRO. Densely distributed teeth on the surface of the wedges enable precise adjustment of the clamping force. In turn, the appropriate grooves at the base of the clip make it break off in a specific place. In addition, the elongated rear part of the wedge ensures better and even pressure on both aligned surfaces, especially with small tile thicknesses.

 TIP!
